Coastal Carolina Rebuilding Ministry (CCRM)
CCRM’s mission is to transform lives through preserving, creating and sustaining affordable homeownership for low-income families by coordinating resources and mobilizing teams of missioners in the historic Albemarle region of northeastern North Carolina. Their vision: ‘A safe and healthy home for every person’. Although there could be some storm damage mixed in, this year’s focus is not on hurricane or storm damage.
Being in Christian Mission
Our focus is much more than building. Mission service is a time for personal growth, especially from the Christ-centered loving connection we seek with one another. Past teams have included Baptist, Brethren, Catholic, Church of God, Greek Orthodox, Independent, Lutheran, Nazarene, Presbyterian and United Methodist volunteers. Each year ’God builds the team from prior year servants, new first-timers and others returning after a year or more absence.
“…And since we are all one body in Christ…and each of us needs all the others.” Romans 12:5
You can do this! Being Christ-centered prepares you more than knowing which end of the hammer to hold. This is a weeklong commitment unless important considerations make that very difficult or impossible.
